Three Legal Solutions alternatives to meet sentencing requirements:
1. Substance Abuse Education Seven-week cycle, homework and quizzes required.
2. 17-Week (DUI) Treatment
- Early Recovery- first month
- Relapse Prevention- remainder
- Social Support- optional ongoing aftercare
3. Long-Term Outpatient Treatment An intensive outpatient treatment protocol developed to address the multiple factors which contribute to drug and alcohol abuse. Individual client needs are considered in the design of each treatment plan. Gradational phases with mandated 12-Step support group attendance, random drug screens, After-care and social support, one-year average duration.
1. Early Recovery, first month weekly requirements: 1-4 random drug screens, 4 clinical counseling group sessions, 4 support group meetings, 1 individual session, family participation.
2. Relapse Prevention, months 1-4 weekly requirements: 1-3 random drug screens, 4 clinical counseling group sessions, 3 support group meetings, family participation.
3. Recovery Maintenance, months 5-8 Weekly requirements: 1-2 random drug screens, 2 clinical counseling group sessions, 3 support group meetings.
4. Continuing Care, months 9-12 weekly requirements: monthly random drug screens, one clinical counseling group session
5. Social support, optional ongoing aftercare. This model has been used effectively and refined over a twenty-year period with thousands of methamphetamine, alcohol and other substance abuse clients.

Note: Phase advancements are based on the individual accomplishments of each client. Random drug screens of urine, saliva, or hair will be conducted. Clients must have an evaluation before starting services. Family involvement has been shown to be so critical that prospective clients who cannot present a list of family and social support members may not be eligible for the program.
